Stormwater

Keeping our stormwater on our properties is important to sustainability in our region, for two distinct reasons: (1) in our areas prone to surface flooding, we reduce flood peaks, and (2) in our coastal communities, clean stormwater overwhelms our sewer systems, sending a mixture of clean water and sewage into our bay and lake through combined sewer overflows (CSOs).

We also have a limestone sinkhole area, that has very special characteristics that we need to consider differently.
